جھنگ:سی پی ڈی آئی پاکستان اور عوام دوست فاونڈیشن کے اشتراک سے نجی ہوٹل میں “کام کے بہترین طریقے،کام کے اثرات اور آئندہ حکمت عملی” کے عنوان پر لرننگ ورکشاپ کا اہتمام کیا گیا.ورکشاپ میں یوتھ کونسل،افراد باہم معذوری،ایکشن گروپ،(PRAG)،وویمن لیڈرز،مذہبی اقلیتوں سمیت سرگرم شہریوں نے شمولیت کی۔
ورکشاپ میں سی پی ڈی آئی کے صوبائی مینیجر فیصل منظور انور،عوام دوست فاونڈیشن کے فوکل پرسن آصف منور نے شرکاء سے گفتگو گی۔ عوام دوست فاونڈیشن کے فوکل پرسن آصف منور نے سی پی ڈی آئی اور عوام دوست فاونڈیشن کے”سٹیزن فار گڈ گورننس پراجیکٹ کے تحت دوسالہ کارکردگی رپورٹ شرکاء کے سامنے پیش کی۔ آصف منور نے بتایا کہ انہوں نے شعوری آگاہی کےلئے مختلف نوعیت کے 29پروگرام منعقد کئے-
جن میں691افراد نے ڈائریکٹ شمولیت کی۔246مرد، 160خواتین،23افراد باہم معذوری سے تعلق رکھنے والےافراد اور 262 مذہبی اقلیتی افراد اس پروگرام سے مستفید ہوئے۔ان دو سالوں میں شفافیت اور احتساب کے عمل کی بہتری کےلئے معلومات تک رسائی کے قانون کو استعمال کرتے ہوئے 54 درخواستیں مختلف اداروں کو ارسال کی گئیں-
جبکہ ان درخواستوں پر چیف انفارمیشن کمشنر پنجاب لاہور اور پاکستان انفارمیشن کمشنر اسلام آباد کو شکایات بھی درج کروائی گئیں۔54 درخواستوں میں سے شکایت کرنے پر 8 اداروں نے جواب دیا جبکہ 46 اداروں نے اس قانون کی خلاف ورزی کرتے ہوئے جواب تک نہ دیا جن پر پنجاب حکومت کی طرف سے کوئی ایکشن نہ لیا گیا۔
انہوں نے بتایا کہ اس پروگرام کے تحت جھنگ کرسچن کمیونٹی کے لئے یونین کونسل اور میونسپل کمیٹی میں کرسچن میرج رجسٹریشن کو منظور کروایا گیا، لیبر قوانین کی خلاف ورزی پر ایکشن کروایاگیا،احمد پور سیال میں سکھ برادری کے نمائندگان کے ساتھ ملکر گردوارہ قلعہ لال سنگھ کو وا گزار کروایاگیا-
،افراد باہم معذوری سے تعلق رکھنے والے افراد کے مسائل حل کروائے اور عوامی و شہری مسائل کے حل کے لیے دن رات کوشش کی گئی۔لوکل گورنمنٹ سسٹم کی بحالی کے لیے آواز اٹھائی گئی۔ ضلع جھنگ میں مختلف طرح کے سروے کیے گئے تاکہ حکومت اور سول سوسائٹی مل کر عوامی مسائل کا حل کر سکے۔
اس موقع پر پروگرام کو بہترین چلانے کے لیے شرکاء سے رائے بھی لی گئی اور دو سالہ کاموں کا جائزہ بھی لیا گیا تاکہ مزید بہتری لائی جا سکے۔سی پی ڈی ائی کے صوبائی منیجر فیصل منظور انور نے کہا کہ ضلع جھنگ کی بہتری کے لیے سول سوسائٹی تنظیمیں ملکر ہمیشہ اپنا مثبت کردار ادا کرتی رہیں گی۔
Jhang: In collaboration with CPDI Pakistan and Awam Dost Foundation, a learning workshop was organized at a private hotel on ” Learning Workshop on “Best Practices, Impact, and the Way Forward”.
Action Group, (PRAG), women leaders, religious minorities, and other active citizens joined. CPDI Provincial Manager Faisal Manzoor Anwar, Focal Person of Awam Dost Foundation Asif Munawar will talk to the participants in the workshop. The focal person of Awam Dost Foundation
, Asif Munawar presented the two-year performance report under CPDI and Awam Dost Foundation’s “Citizen for Good Governance Project” to the participants. Asif Munawar said that they organized 29 different programs for awareness. In which 691 people participated directly. 246 men, 160 women, 23 PWDs, and 262 religious minorities benefited from this program. In these two years, they used the Access to Information Act to improve the process of transparency and accountability.
54 applications were sent to various institutions while complaints were also filed to the Chief Information Commissioner Punjab Lahore and Pakistan Information Commissioner Islamabad on these applications.Out of 54 requests, 8 institutions responded while 46 institutions did not even respond in violation of this law
. On which no action was taken against these institutions by the Punjab government. He said that under this program, registration of Christian marriages for the Christian community of Jhang, labor laws were approved by the Union Council and the Municipal Committee. Gurdwara Qila Lal Singh,
the place of worship of the Sikh community in Ahmedpur Sial, was visited together with the representatives of the Sikh community. The team worked day and night to solve the problems of disabled people and public and civil problems
. Efforts were made to restore the local government system. Various surveys were conducted in the Jhang district so that the government and civil society could solve public problems together. On this occasion,
feedback was also taken from the participants to run the program in the best way and biennial works were reviewed for further improvement. CPDI Provincial Manager Faisal Manzoor Anwar said that civil society organizations will always play a positive role in the improvement of Jhang district.
